: Trevor Burger is a second-generation knifemaker following in the steps of his father, Fred Burger. He has an eye for detail. His knives have exceptionally smooth action and clean, no-nonsense designs. This rare left handed Atlas Front Flipper is a folder with a streamlined design that will make you really appreciate the details.
The blade runs on caged ceramic ball bearings that Trevor makes in house and has silky-smooth, drop-shut action. It is easily opened single-handed using the discreet front flipper. The blade is perfectly centered.
The blade is premium ELMAX stainless steel, created by Bohler in Austria. At 60 Hrc, ELMAX provides the extreme edge retention, high strength, and toughness a hard-use knife demands. High wear resistance in a steel usually means low corrosion resistance, but not with ELMAX. With this advanced steel, you get both properties, which makes it an excellent steel for daily carry folders. The blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge.
The handle is bead blasted grade 5 titanium with a Red Dark Matter FatCarbon inlay on the show side. Trevor’s touchmark is engraved on the inside of the handle. The 3D machined titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-side, tip-up carry.
