The blade is comprised of BK1 coated Bohler N680, an Austrian made high performance steel with superior cutting ability and wear resistance due to its high concentration of vanadium and chromium carbides. Deploying the blade is as easy as pulling back the AXIS lock and letting the auto system do the rest of the work. No need for thumbstuds on this beast! A second button located at the rear of the handle flips the seatbelt cutter into action.
Aluminum scales keep the knife light yet durable. Textured G10 inlays make it even more slip resistant. Jimping on the thumb ramp provides a secure thumb purchase. A discreet toggle safety can be used to lock the blade open or closed. A carbide glass breaker is set to the rear. Includes a right-handed pocket clip mounted for tip-up carry.
