: The Proper is a medium sized gentleman’s slipjoint folding pocket knife from Benchmade Knives. Because this knife does not lock open, it is legal almost everywhere. The Proper (318) has a strong backspring making the opening and closing easy, but solid.
The clip point shaped blade is satin finished CPM-S30V premium stainless steel. S30V is an amazing crucible steel known for its superior edge holding ability, as well as its corrosion resistance. A TRUE stainless steel, CPM-S30V requires little maintenance and out-performs other steels like D2 by 619%. The blade pivot can be easily adjusted on the go with a torx screwdriver. The large traditional nail nick is used to open the blade.
The handle scales are made from elegantly contoured green micarta. The knife has no pocket clip and is meant to sit at the bottom of your pocket.
