The drop point blade is made from CPM-S90V, hardened to 59-61 Hrc. CPM-S90V is a excellent high-end, American-made, powdered metallurgical steel with a uniform micro-structure. The high carbon content combines with vanadium to form vanadium carbides, providing incredible wear resistance while leaving the chromium free to provide a high level of corrosion resistance. This is among the highest performing steels Benchmade uses! Improvements to the overall geometry, ergonomics, and material will make the last cut feel just as effortless as the first with the help of Benchmade’s new SelectEdge 14&deg angle.
Contoured Richlite/orange G10 handle scales are set on a full tang and offer a comfortable grip. The tang extends past the scales and has been tapped in case a lanyard is desired.
The newly redesigned sheath creates a slim and reliable housing for convenient storage in your pack. Adding a Tek-Lok allows for easy belt carry.
