: Arno Bernard Sr. is a maker from South Africa and has been making knives for over 35 years. He has been a member of the Knifemakers Guild of Southern Africa (KGSA) for over 20 years. Living in South Africa has allowed him the luxury of using many different exotic handle materials — some even collected himself.
This Bird & Trout is American-made Crucible CPM-S35VN stainless steel. The premium steel and an exceptional heat treatment ensure optimal edge holding and durability. The blade is hollow ground to a thin, high performance edge. The spine is rounded for a comfortable grip.
Stabilized spalted oak scales are set on the full tang using stainless steel pins. The knife is very lightweight (just 1.8 oz!) and comfortable to hold, making it perfect for a daily carry fixed blade. From caping fowl and fish to use as a EDC, this bird & trout knife will be a tremendous piece out in the field.
A leather pouch style sheath is included to keep the knife close at hand.
