: Daniel Winkler became a fulltime knifemaker in 1988 and received accreditation as an American Bladesmith Society master bladesmith in 1993. This tool was crafted in the Winkler Knives shop in Northwestern North Carolina by skilled Blue Ridge Mountain artisans. It was created to provide unfailing performance and to last a lifetime. The Winkler Knives touch mark represents their unwavering commitment to producing the highest quality knives, axes, and breaching tools available.
The Blue Ridge Hunter is perfect for those looking for a small, but rugged fixed blade. The blade is formed from 3/16″ 80CRV2 carbon steel with a non-glare Caswell finish. A natural walnut wood handle is set on the full tang which has been skeletonized to reduce overall weight. The handle is completed with a lanyard hole.
The versatile leather wrapped Kydex sheath can be worn vertically or horizontally for right- or left-side draw with simple adjustments. A metal belt clip makes it especially easy to add to your belt.
