The damascus blade was forged from 1095 and 15n20 carbon steels to ensure excellent edge holding and chip resistance. The high contrast pattern is extremely engaging and demands further inspection. A long swedge runs along the top of the blade. Because this knife is made from carbon steels, we recommend using camellia oil to oil the blade and natural stag handle.
The downturned stag handle has plenty of texture and offers a comfortable, non-slip grip. The spacer and end cap are engraved in a checkered pattern. The nickel silver guard is polished on the sides and satin finished on the faces.
This bowie feels truly spectacular in the hand and has perfect balance. Excellent work throughout!
