: Swedish bladesmith Michael Andersson is a force to be reckoned with. Unlike many Nordic knifemakers, Michael believes very strongly in sole authorship, from forging the blade to shape, to creating the damascus, to sewing the sheath. His style is immediately identifiable and is very dramatic.
The 6.1 inch long blade was forged to shape Micke’s own damascus. He combined three bars of twisted Ws damascus, a linear nickel stripe damascus, and a firecracker pattern edge. The damascus was forged from Uddeholm 15N20 and 20C carbon steels for exceptional edge holding.
Front and rear bolsters are forged from Micke’s twist pattern damascus. Arizona desert ironwood handle scales have a sideways damascus frame.
This hunter is accompanied by a single seam custom leather sheath with damascus fittings.
Exceptional fit and finish throughout.
