The 8-1/2 inch blade features a VG-10 premium stainless steel core (hagane). This is surrounded by many layers of high contrast damascus. This time consuming process creates a knife with outstanding edge holding and beauty, without the brittleness of many other high performing steels. The spine and choil are nicely rounded to provide a comfortable grip.
Hand contoured Arizona desert ironwood handle scales are set on the full tang. The scales are elegantly fit to a polished stainless steel bolster. This knife is absolutely perfect for the professional chef or home cook connoisseur!
