The blade is hand forged 52100 carbon steel. A black oxide finish prevents light reflection and provides limited rust resistance. Many knifemakers and users feel that 52100 is among the highest performing steels currently used to make knives. Jimping along the spine provides excellent control for skinning purposes. The thin blade will cut well and will skin game with ease.
OD green G-10 scales are set on the full tang for strength and durability. The blade and tang are nicely tapered for perfect balance and to reduce weight. The contoured scales fill your hand nicely.
This knife is accompanied by a hand stitched leather custom sheath by Bob’s Saddle Shop.
