: This exceptional engraved folder was made by Japanese master knifemaker Shun Fujikawa. Fujikawa has tremendous attention to detail. This knife was in a private collection since it was made. It has been meticulously cared for and is in new condition. By all appearances, it could have ben made yesterday.
Fujikawa started with deceivingly simple lines and worked them to perfection. The perfectly centered blade is hand ground mosaic damascus forged from carbon steels.
The 416 stainless steel handle was meticulously engraved by Shigetoshi Takeuchi. The engraving is accented with 24k gold inlay. Each side of the handle is inlaid with presentation grade blacklip mother of pearl.
