: South African knifemaker, Jan Wahl, is a maker to watch. He became a full time knife maker in 2009 and joined the South African Knife Makers Guild in 2012. Jan has excellent attention to detail.
The 3-3/4 inch blade is made from satin finished N690 stainless steel, created by Bohler in Austria. It takes an incredibly sharp edge and holds on to it. Increased toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping. The blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge. The spine has been nicely rounded for comfort and fileworked for a secure thumb purchase.
Handle scales formed from stacked black and tan G-10 are set on the full tang. The handle is nicely contoured for a perfect grip. This is a knife you won’t want to put down.
This hunting knife includes a vegetable tanned, hand tooled, leather pouch style sheath.
