The blade is hand ground CPM-154 stainless steel. This American-made powdered metallurgical steel has a particularly small grain structure, making it take an extremely keen edge and hold it while remaining tough and chip resistant. A hand rubbed satin finish lends an heirloom quality.
Presentation grade blacklip mother of pearl scales are set between integral bolsters. The scales are set in place using mosaic pins. The bolsters are fluted and textured.
This knife is numbered M1BM1. It is accompanied by a custom pouch style leather sheath.
