: Gaétan Beauchamp is a maker out of Canada well known for his excellent fit and finish on his high quality hunting knives. This elegant knife is a perfect example of Beauchamp’s clean work and will be perfect as a general purpose field knife or hunter. This knife was kept in a private collection since it was made in 2022. It is in brand new condition and by all appearances it could have been made yesterday!
The blade is 154CM stainless steel with a meticulous hand rubbed satin finish. The blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge. The spine and choil are rounded for comfort. Beauchamp’s touchmark is on the right side of the blade.
Handle scales are jet black Asian water buffalo horn, set on a full tang. Micarta liners add a touch of contrast and will help the horn adjust to humidity and temperature changes. The horn is scrimshawed with a leopard and paw print motif by Beauchamp. The texturing of the scrimshaw aids grip. The scales are dovetailed to polished stainless steel bolsters.
