Colson’s Drop Point Hunter with Amber Stag is very true to Bob’s original design. The stainless steel blade was hollow ground to accentuate the dramatic grind lines. By using PM steel, Colson ensures particularly good edge holding. The blade is 3.9 inches of nimble capability — whether used in the great outdoors or in the city, you’ll have a hard time not feeling this knife’s tremendous utility.
The guard is 416 stainless steel and nicely offsets prime amber stag scales. A distal tapered tang ensures perfect balance. Red fiber spacers assist the stag to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. The handle is contoured for a very comfortable, secure grip.
