: Jason Clark is a part time, sole authorship knifemaker from O’Brien, Florida. He has been employed full time as a Florida Law Enforcement Officer since 1997 and knows what it takes to make a high functioning knife that is meant to be used. He even offers lifetime free sharpening for any knife he has made!
The blade is perfectly centered with silky smooth, drop shut action — easily opened with one hand using the ambidextrous flipper toggle. It uses the IKBS (Ikoma Korth Bearing System) pivot system. This mechanism, which was originally designed to fit balisong knives, uses ball bearings to create exceptional action with no blade play.
The 3 inch clip point blade on this Model 3 Flipper is CPM-S35VN stainless steel, hardened to 60 Hrc for a nice combination of edge holding and chip resistance. A meticulous hand rubbed satin finish adds an heirloom quality to the blade. Jason’s touchmark is on the left side.
Handle scales are linen Micarta, set on bead blasted titanium liners. The liners surround a free floating satin finished backbar. Satin finished titanium bolsters are dovetailed to the Micarta scales. The milled titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-side, tip-up carry. This is a knife with exceptional action and a classy look.
A leather pocket pouch, handmade by Jason’s wife, is included for safe storage and carry.
