: Bradford Knives are made in Kent, Washington. Bradford Larkin’s background working in an aerospace machine shop is clearly evident in this high performance, elegant paring knife.
This paring knife is a perfect choice for detail tasks – from taking the eyes out of potatoes to removing the heads from tomatoes. The short, thin blade combines control and precision.
The blade is high performing AEB-L stainless steel. Many knifemakers and metallurgists feel that AEB-L, with its small crystalline size, tremendous edge stability and toughness, is among the best stainless steels used in knifemaking today. AEB-L was developed for razor blades with a very fine grain structure making it easy to sharpen while maintaining good edge holding capabilities. Corners along the spine and choil have been nicely rounded for comfortable, extended use. The blade features a light blue PVD finish.
Carbon fiber handle scales are contoured to swell at the middle, move into a slimmer waist, swelling again at the back, ensuring a secure, comfortable grip. The scales are tapered thin at the front to comfortably accommodate a pinch grip. Bradford’s microtexturing provides a non-slip grip even if the handle gets wet.
A leather storage sleeve is included to protect the knife during storage and transport.
