: Daniel Winkler became a fulltime knifemaker in 1988 and received accreditation as an American Bladesmith Society master bladesmith in 1993. He has spent more than three decades studying and perfecting the nuances and handmade knives. Winkler Knives is a custom manufacturing operation that represents the evolution of Mastersmith Daniel Winkler’s knifemaking expertise coupled with the needs and field experience of Tier 1 Special Operations Teams from around the world.
This tool was crafted in the Winkler Knives shop in Northwestern North Carolina by skilled Blue Ridge Mountain artisans. It was created to provide unfailing performance and to last a lifetime. The Winkler Knives touch mark represents their unwavering commitment to producing the highest quality knives, axes, and breaching tools available.

The Push Dagger is a design that was added by Winkler Knives in the late summer of 2014. Though compact in size, it is an exceptional knife and sure to get the job done in an emergency.
Maple scales are set on a full tang. The sculpted handle sits comfortably in your palm with the blade protruding from between the second and third fingers. Hand sculpting on the wood helps ensure a secure, comfortable grip with a heck of a wallop. The 80CrV2 carbon steel blade has 1-3/4 inch cutting edges and measures 2-2/3 inches from tip to the handle. The blade has a non-glare Caswell finish.
The Kydex sheath has a metal clip on the back, but can also be comfortably worn as a neck knife by adding a ball chain or cord. It includes a clip that works for vertical left-or right-side carry, either in the waistband or outside. The Push Dagger is secured by a Kydex rentention tab.
