: Sam Eddleman is a maker to watch. There’s often an element of the fantastic in his knives, with stylistic references to both feudal Japan and the contemporary military. Sam made his first knife in 2008 — as a knife collector he found that making knives himself was the intuitive next step.
This Ring Dagger is a perfect example of Sam’s clean, consistent work. The N690 blade features a symmetrical dagger grind brought to a mirror polish. N690 takes an incredibly sharp edge and holds onto it. Increased toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping. Sam’s mark is on the ricasso.
Rayskin is one of the toughest and most elegant materials available for tactical knife handles. Teal rayskin is set beneath a black nylon wrap. Combined, these two materials ensure a secure, comfortable grip. A ring at the end of the handle makes the knife particularly easy to draw from a concealed position and offers an exceptional grip.
The knife comes with a Kydex sheath that includes a ball chain to wear the knife as a neck knife. A removable belt clip is also included. Alternately, the knife could easily fit in the front pocket for convenient carry.
