The damascus blade was hand forged by Burke. The high contrast, detailed River of Fire pattern immediately grabs attention. River of Fire is a pattern that Burke developed some years ago and has been brought into the repertoire of many makers today. The clip point grind provides a particularly efficient cut with a detail-oriented tip and deep belly.
The blade is perfectly centered and can be easily opened using the right-handed nail nick. The blade has smooth, consistent action with a firm half stop.
Whitelip mother of pearl scales are secured to the stainless steel frame using hand domed pins. A blacklip mother of pearl shield is inlaid into the left side scale. 416 stainless steel front and rear bolsters are integral to the frame for superior strength and durability. They are mirror polished.
