: CarlMichael crafted his first knife at 15 years old. His 30 years of artistry are reflected in this exceptional Swedish utility knife. From the high performing damascus blade to the beautiful reindeer antler, this is sure to be a centerpiece of any collection, though it will beg to be brought out in the field.
The blade is feather damascus forged by renowned knifemaker Roger Bergh. The high contrast pattern is extremely engaging. By using carbon steels, Roger ensures the blade will have excellent edge holding. Roger’s touchmark is on the right side of the blade. The blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge.
The handle combines masur birch with reindeer antler. The traditional Sami patterns on the handle and sheath is not scrimshaw, but hand engraving. The handle is sculpted to provide a comfortable grip. It is finished with a reindeer antler bolster.
To keep the knife close at hand, a matching custom sheath made from masur birch and reindeer antler is included. The sheath has a leather upper and a traditional braided leather lanyard. This allows the sheath to move out of the way when sitting down.
