: Toor Knives was founded by Connor Toor in San Diego, California. Connor was in the Marine Corps at the time and was frustrated seeing teammates in the Marine Corps having to rely on mass-produced knives that were unfit for mission-specific tasks. By pooling the experience of his teammates and his Army Ranger brother Cameron Toor, Toor knives was able to create a family of blades that fit the needs of airborne operations, diving, close-quarters battle, law enforcement, scouting, and patrolling-related missions. Toor Knives are tough, yet well balanced and easy to carry. Plus, they guarantee their knives for life from any manufacturing defects or issues!
Designed as the ultimate belt-mounted breaching tool, the full-size Tomahawk carries most of its weight in the head, which increases impact force when swung. The Tomahawk is still small enough to be easily used in close corridors. This colorway is a limited edition from Toor Knives and once sold out will not be made again!
The blade is D2 tool steel hardened to 57-59 Hrc for a perfect compromise between toughness and edge holding. A corrosion-resistant KG Gunkote finish helps protect the axe from rust and oxidation. The edge of the Tomahawk has a tapered flat grind to reduce weight and allows for a razor-sharp edge while the point on the rear end of the blade acts as a breach and prying tool. The blade measures 5-1/2 inches from the edge to the tip of the spike.
The haft is textured G10 secured to the full tang using torx screws. The tang is proud from the scales, which adds additional grip and protects the scales from damage. A lanyard can be added to the bottom of the handle if desired.
To keep the axe close at hand, a Kydex sheath is included.
