The Viper is an elegant front flipper that features a sturdy frame lock. The 3-1/2″ blade and ergonomic handle are perfect for the task at hand.
The front flipper mechanism is easy to use. The smaller flipper size is extremely comfortable and inobtrusive when carried in the pocket. This style of flipper is designed to be rotated or flicked out with the thumb. Alternatively the blade hole can be used to open the knife.
The blade is high performing Damacore stainless damascus san mai (DC21R) forged by Damasteel in Sweden. This exciting steel combines a high performing core of powdered metallurgical RWL34, surrounded by alternating outer layers of stainless damascus (forged from RWL34 and PMC27 martensitic stainless steels). RWL34 has very high strength and toughness combined with extremely edge sharpness. The addition of molybdenum provides higher corrosion resistance compared to standard martensitic stainless steels.
The handle is made from bead blasted 6Al4V titanium and features Red Lavaflow FatCarbon inlays on both sides. The scales surround an oversized barrel spacer that keeps the knife light, yet strong. The titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-side, tip-up carry.
