This knife features a special Hinderer flat-ground “slicer” blade that provides both slicing efficiency and a tough point. The blade rolls out of the handle on the KVT ball-bearing system so deployment is rapid and it’s ready when you need it. The blade also has an ambidextrous thumb stub to assist with one hand opening when you don’t want to use the flipper toggle.
The ZT0562CF features a premium American made Crucible CPM-20CV stainless steel blade. CPM-20CV is a martensitic stainless steel with a high volume of vanadium carbides for exceptionally good wear resistance. CPM-20CV contains the highest amount of chromium of any high vanadium stainless steel currently available. This results in superior corrosion resistance while maintaining a high wear resistance.
The handle has black carbon fiber scales on the left and a stonewashed titanium back. For secure lock up during use, ZT uses a frame lock with hardened steel lockbar inserts and lockbar stabilization so the lock won’t overextend. The unique pocket clip is reversible (left/right) and enables extra-deep carry in the pocket.
